COVID-19 testing does not negatively affect immigration status:

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) published a notice regarding non-citizen testing for COVID-19 and how that effects the new “Public Charge” rule and testing information: USCIS encourages all those, including those with symptoms that resemble Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) (fever, cough, shortness of breath) to seek necessary medical treatment or preventive services. Such treatment or preventive services will not negatively affect any alien as part of a future Public Charge analysis.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program:

Certain lawfully-present non-citizens may still receive SNAP benefits. Eligible non-citizens include families with children under 18 years old, victims of trafficking, and asylees. For more information about non-citizen SNAP eligibility, click here. To apply, click here.

Healthcare Coverage through the ACA:

The Affordable Care Act expanded access to affordable healthcare options for many non-citizen residents of the United States. You may be eligible to purchase a plan with low or no monthly premiums.
