My sincerest thanks!

A battle lost or won is easily described, understood, and appreciated, but the moral growth of a great nation requires reflection, as well as observation, to appreciate it.

Dear Friend,

Thank you for the honor and privilege of representing you in the Maryland Senate for another term.

We’ve been through a lot these past four years: A presidency premised on division and vitriol; a global pandemic; a movement toward racial reckoning; persistent gun violence; a Supreme Court that has stripped away fundamental rights and a lot more.

But I have always thought our community possessed the antidote to these ailments. We are richly diverse and compassionate. Over the years we have worked hard to extend our arms and to widen the circle of inclusion so that everyone feels welcomed and cherished. We have also worked to ensure everyone, regardless of their background, has an opportunity to rise. That is the ethos your District 20 Team will continue to bring to Annapolis over these next four years.

It is an honor to serve alongside Delegates David Moon, Jheanelle Wilkins, and Lorig Charkoudian. They are first-rate public servants and stellar human beings.

I am humbled – I am honored – I am fired up and ready to work!

Sincerely,
